COMMUNITY GARDEN
Feeding The Hungry
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me. MATTHEW 25:35
Our Community Garden has been flourishing for more than 7 years and we are planning for a successful harvest this season! Helpers will be needed to help get the garden ready for the crops that will be grown this year. All of the produce is donated to New Hope Ministries for sharing with their clients. St. Paul’s has donated more than 1,000 pounds of vegetables each year for the past three seasons and we are hoping for a record harvest this year!
Thank you to Mike & Kathy Aumiller for volunteering to be our garden’s 2020 Chairpersons and to Wendy Hayden and Jody Biss for stepping up as Co-Chairs for 2020 and then moving into the Chair position for 2021!
Our first workday of the season will be Saturday, April 18th beginning at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM (Social Distancing). We will provide donuts and coffee for breakfast as well as hot dogs and chips for lunch. Bottled water will be supplied courtesy of Classic Dry Cleaners. Bring your work gloves and help us to clean up, mulch and plant cold crops. Rain date will be Sunday, April 19th.
Additional work days are scheduled for:

In addition, we need weekly helpers to weed and harvest throughout the summer. You may want to volunteer for one day a week for a specific month, or three times a week for one week. These volunteers are key to keeping the garden growing this summer!
