Get to know St Paul's Church staff

Rev John Ward-Diorio

The Reverend John Ward-Diorio has been the Pastor at St Paul’s UCC since January 2008. John is married to Susan Ward-Diorio and has three children, a boy (in college at Syracuse) and two girls at home attending Boiling Springs High School.

Renee Durbin

Renee Durbin is St. Paul’s Administrative Assistant. A lifelong resident of the Mechanicsburg area, she graduated from Mechanicsburg High School, Messiah University, and Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary.

Allyssa Boyer

In addition to her role as Director of Educational & Youth Ministries, Allyssa also serves as a student minister at St. Paul’s, part of her field education in the Master of Divinity program at Lancaster Theological Seminary. Allyssa’s ministerial interests include interfaith dialogue, the intersection of religion and politics, anti-racism work, and the Bible and sexuality. Baptized and confirmed in St. Paul’s, she

loves playing F and G as a member of the Hand chime Choir. She is grateful to the entire St. Paul’s congregation for their enthusiastic support of her call to ministry.

Eric Dundore

Our Minister of Music, Eric Dundore, is in his 37th year of planning and leading the musical endeavors of St. Paul's.  Eric is also an Adjunct Instructor at Messiah and Lebanon Valley Colleges and currently directs the Men’s Chorus at Bethany Village in Mechanicsburg.

He is retired from teaching Vocal/Choral Music at Mechanicsburg Area High School after a 35 year career. 

Eric enjoys being a stage performer, music director and stage director at Theater Harrisburg and other local companies.  

Jonne Dundore

Jonne has been the Choristers director for over 20 years and is the former Director of Educational Ministries at St. Paul’s, as well as VBS Director. She has been a member of our Chancel Choir for over 37 years and currently sings with The Harrisburg Singers. Jonne is active in local theatre. A graduate of Millersville State College, she is a retired Special Education teacher, having taught for the CAIU and Mechanicsburg Area School District.

Mark Dundore

Mark Dundore is Director of our Hand Chime Choir and Assistant Minister of Music. He  is an emerging composer originally from the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area. His work includes repertoire in both the vocal and instrumental media, and he is always looking for new challenges and opportunities in the field.

Sarah Myers

Sarah Myers has served as organist for St. Paul’s UCC since July, 2002.  She grew up on a dairy farm near East Berlin, PA and studied piano under Mrs. Beulah Sanders.  Prior to accepting the organist position at St. Paul’s, she served numerous local churches as a substitute organist.

Patrice Miller

Pat is a retired teacher/school counselor who has been a member of St. Paul's for 38 years.  She has played the piano and organ for our church for at least 30 of those 38 years.  She is married to Greg and has two adult children: Devon and Ryan, as well as 2 grandchildren, Hayden and Leo.  She feels like St. Paul's is the perfect fit for her spiritual beliefs and truly enjoys the friends and camaraderie that she has experienced here

Mike Hatz 

Mike is St Paul's Sexton and as such ensures the general cleaniness of the church. He mows the lawn and keeps the walks clear from snow and ice.
