Called To Care

Called to Care is St. Paul’s care giving program. This is a team of persons who have been trained in the skills needed to provide care to others within our church community.

The earliest stories of the Christian tradition reveal the central role of love within the Christian community of faith. Jesus stated that love was actually a distinguishing mark of Christian discipleship. The story of the Christian faith is a story of love; the love of God for humanity and humanity’s response to God’s love.

The Called to Care team responds through acts of love which include but are not limited to: visiting shut-ins and those in institutions; providing meals to persons who are temporarily disabled; providing transportation for medical appointments; visiting the sick and lonely and other acts of support as needed.

We look to the life and ministry of Jesus and discover the promise of the presence of the Holy Spirit as we carry out the command to love one another in this place and this time.

If you have any questions or would be interested in becoming a member of St. Paul’s Called to Care team, please contact the pastor or church office.
