Sarah Myers

Sarah Myers has served as organist for St. Paul’s UCC since July, 2002.  She grew up on a dairy farm near East Berlin, PA and studied piano under Mrs. Beulah Sanders.  Prior to accepting the organist position at St. Paul’s, she served numerous local churches as a substitute organist.  A graduate of both Harrisburg Area Community College and University of Phoenix (BS), Sarah recently retired from a 37 year career with the Federal Government, having worked primarily as a financial liaison for Defense Printing Service (DPS) and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).  She also served her local community as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for 18 years, becoming the first female line officer for Hampton Fire Company (Adams County) and Hampden Township Volunteer Fire Company (Cumberland County).  Sarah is married to Elizabeth (Beth) Mihmet and resides in Mechanicsburg with their cat, Cookie.
